What started as a simple yet unorthodox proposal during the family's Thanksgiving holiday sends him into a life-altering path as he attempts to steer the ship, often in vain.

C.W.O. is my flagship series. From its humble beginnings as a simple romance novel, I had intentions of submitting it to a small publication. After realizing that most of the marketing would still be on my head, I shifted the series into a more pulp thriller genre—thus freeing myself from others’ expectations.
Mashing the worlds of sweet romance with a violent and illicit underworld, the series attempts to explore sincere relationships amidst an imperfect world. In this, the theme becomes Man vs. World, rather than Man vs. (Wo)Man.
The goal is to cast aside the usual romance tropes and focus more on character growth in a genuine and realistic fashion—all while throwing their lives into turmoil. But through the struggle, opportunities arise to forge more meaningful bonds and lifelong commitments.

Through the magic and questionable ethics of generative image creation, I’ve been able to bring the characters to life in all their one-megapixel glory. Using an $8 subscription and a month out of my life, each has been rendered and refined to a point where I’m almost happy with the results.
Far from being a matter of prompting simple character traits, I found ways to balance the unpredictable nature of stable diffusion and harness some semblance of consistency. Spanning the years of each novel, the evolution of the characters shows their growth throughout the series.

From time to time, I take a break from the series to detail my thoughts on various topics. Unlike a traditional blog, I won’t be adding dates or updating regularly, since that would invite expectations.
